Progress on the A4 (#41)
Cedar top jointed and cut out roughly
Cutting the rosette with a tank cutter...
then a disc of solid wood glued into the slot.... (mahogany in this case to match the back & sides)
then some black & white purfling in the gap between the disc and the edges of the slot.
