maple mandolin continues.... the fretboard was aslvaged from the damaged neck and fitted to a new neck... Photobucket then fitted to the body Photobucket now, the maple is pretty. it has figure in there, but now it's time to "pop the maple" and raise the grain first mix up some lacquer with yellow dye Photobucket and apply to the maple Photobucket sand it off Photobucket re-apply Photobucket and sand again Photobucket then we're ready for regular clear coats Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket
